From priorities to progress

A clear starting point.
A practical path forward.

Every engagement begins with the business issue, the reporting deadline, and the people responsible for delivering. The scope follows the work your company needs—not a standard package.

01
Understand the business and the deadline

Discuss the milestone, existing reporting process, team capacity, and decisions that need attention.

02
Define the work and its owners

Agree on priorities, deliverables, responsibilities, and timing. For readiness engagements, identify gaps and sequence remediation.

03
Execute with the team

Work through the technical analysis and reporting tasks, coordinate with stakeholders, and keep open items visible.

04
Leave a stronger process behind

Document conclusions, transfer knowledge, and help the team carry the work into the next reporting cycle.

Common questions

Before we begin.

A few practical details about working with Altessa.

Do we need to be planning an IPO?

No. Altessa also supports private companies and established public companies with tax accounting, provisions, transactions, controls, and interim leadership. IPO readiness is one part of the practice.

Can you work alongside our existing advisers?

Yes. An engagement can complement your internal team, external tax advisers, and auditors. Responsibilities and deliverables are agreed at the outset so the work is coordinated.

What is the difference between interim and fractional leadership?

Interim support fills a temporary leadership need, such as a vacancy or transition. Fractional support provides ongoing senior involvement on a part-time basis. The cadence and scope depend on your company’s reporting needs.

How are engagements scoped and priced?

We first discuss your priorities, deadlines, available information, and required deliverables. The proposal then sets out the scope, responsibilities, timing, and fee arrangement before work begins.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

A brief description of the issue, your next reporting or transaction milestone, and where the team needs support. Confidential documents can be shared later through an agreed secure channel.
